How To Tune?

To tune a kalimba thumb piano is to actually adjust tines so they have the exact sound they are supposed to, according to which note a tine is designated to play. The thumb piano is tuned and tested well before shipment.

1. Tuner: You can use a real kalimba tuner or download an App. Android system app: gStrings, Apple system app: InsTuner or Tuner Lite.

2. Tune with harmmer: Making tines longer to lower kalimba pitch, and making tines shorter to make pitch higher.
