About Kalimba

The Kalimba is an African musical instrument, traditional to the Shona people of Zimbabwe. It consists of a wooden board (often fitted with a resonator) with attached staggered metal tines, played by holding the instrument in the hands and plucking the tines with the thumbs (at minimum), the right forefinger , and sometimes the left forefinger.

2. Tuning steps:

(1) Pluck the middle tine of the Kalimba.

(2) Use the tuning hammer to tune the tine, until the note in the tuner matches the default note and the pointer directing to the center position.
