3.5mm TRS to TRRS Patch Cable This cable is a shielded cable for Rode, designed to connect VideoMic GO and VideoMicro to TRRS compatible devices, such as for iPhone or iPad. Gold-plated contacts are color-coded, with gray TRRS indicator output. The cable is color-matched. Simply plug the TRS end (black) jack into the back of the VideoMic Go and the TRRS end (gray) into the smartphone or tablet. Cable specification ATTENTION If you are using an iPhone with no 3.5mm jack (i.e., iPhone X), make sure that you are using the original Apple lightning to 3.5mm adapter (or equivalent adapters that can be connected to a microphone). Most replacement lightning to 3.5mm adapters is not capable of connecting to a microphone.
