Counterweight balancing is suggested to use with the gimbal stabilizer when the plated mounted. You can check with asin B07GS3LT9D. When you use wide angle lens mode, you may need to put your action camera far away from gimbal and need counterweight on the other side to keep balance.

Also some customer reflected that they would like to use case with Gopro while mounting the plate, currently the screw is not long enough for such using and it's not suggested :) Thank you so much for your understanding.
