The GameSir M2 has built-in to it a 800mAh rechargeable lithium battery. The M2 controller charging voltage is between 3.7V 2A for iPod and iPad and 5V 1A for iPhone, taking between 1 hour and 2 hours to charge. The power indicator LED light will tell you the battery level.
Both sides of the joystick has granular rubber so it's pretty comfortable and anti-slippery. High precision joystick with no dead-zone. Buttons and d-pad are springy and responsive while the joysticks are rubberized preventing your thumb slipping off.
