At Puro Sound Labs, noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) is a condition we’re all too familiar with. Our daughter was diagnosed with NIHL before she reached high school, and her loud headphones she wore constantly were to blame. To prevent further damage, we searched for wireless headphones for kids that put a limit on volume, but our search was in vain.

The JuniorJams are designed to protect developing ears – volume is limited to 85 dB (safe for up to 8 hours of listening per day) to help prevent partial deafness caused by noise-induced hearing loss.
They’re also designed with comfort in mind, from the adjustable headband that grows with your child (and even fits most adults) to the cushioned earcups. The ultra-lightweight design means no added pressure on head or ears, and we carefully choose our materials to limit the risk of allergic reactions.

JuniorJams provides superb all-day comfort with cushioned ear cups, wrapped in super-soft vegan leather. Padded and lightweight headband with smooth-sliding adjustment allows a perfect fit for growing ears of all ages. Controls are large and easy to use so kids can operate their headphones without help.
The vegan leather circular ear cups rotate at 90 degrees, folding up easily for travel and storage. A soft carry bag (included) keeps the headphones clean and safe while not in use. An included volume-limiting cable allows the JuniorJams to work on airplane screens that do not have Bluetooth while still limiting volume to safe levels.
